You know what I like about this pretty home near Malmö, Sweden? It looks comfortable and friendly – and lived in and loved. And real.
And how about that view of the church?
I especially like the living room (the couch, pillows and artwork are so welcoming) and the bedroom (the spare white room + mint green pillow combination is soft and pretty).
These photos are from a real estate listing, and in case you’re curious like me, I converted the price into US dollars: it’s listed for about $404,000.

Gorgeous homes, aren’t they? Even more so if you go to the Alvhem website and look at the photos in large format. Much inspiration to find.

I have a long list of things I want to get done today, yet here I sit, daydreaming:
Beautiful, light-filled Swedish homes via Skeppsholmen. (These photos are bigger and more beautiful when you view them on their website.)
We’re supposed to get a little snow this weekend, and I’ve already promised my 8 year old that we could do some baking. I bought her one of these little heart-shaped pie pocket molds from Williams Sonoma, so we’re going to try them out and have some fun.
I’ve been looking for some small creative projects lately – anyone have some recommendations? Or suggestions/requests for crafts projects you’d like to see here?

Skeppsholmen is a truly dreamy site filled with huge photos of beautiful Swedish homes. I recommended clicking on that link only when you have a couple of hours to spare, because once you arrive, you won’t want to leave.

A stunning vacation home in southern Sweden which was originally an annex to an old farm. It was designed around the Swedish rituals of sauna and bathing.
Although the house is small, it has all of the necessities. Designed by Wingårdh Arkitektkontor AB.
