I’ve been writing Charlotte’s Fancy since August of 2008. When I started it, I didn’t know how rewarding it would be. Above all else, I’ve enjoyed the community it has given me – the feedback and friendship from you kind readers here as well as on Twitter. It’s been a wonderful creative outlet too, as well as an opportunity to support independent artists/shops in any way I can (which makes me feel like I’m doing something useful).
I’ve been struggling lately with whether or not it’s time to say goodbye to Charlotte’s Fancy for a variety of reasons, but I’ve decided that I would miss it, and don’t really want to give it up. If I post less frequently (not every day), I could offer better ideas, more comprehensive information, and more original content (there was a time, believe it or not, when I published my own craft ideas every week).
So in 2013, I’ll be experimenting a little with what feels right – perhaps it’s just one post a week, perhaps I only post when I have inspiration. In any case, I hope you’ll stick with me.
From the bottom of my heart, thank you for your comments and your “likes” which encourage me to keep going. I appreciate you all so much.
Sending you warm holiday wishes and wishing you a bright 2013.
xo,
Molly

Molly, I really do enjoy getting your charlottes fancy blog in my inbox. It would not bother me at all if it came a little less frequently, but I would sure miss it if it was gone. I enjoy the brevity and the editorial effort, as I personally just don’t have time to dig through all the wonderful crafting, DIY, Pinterest, etc. blogs to find a little dose of inspiration. I want to encourage you to continue, in whatever capacity is best for you! Have a lovely holiday season!

There have been lots of bloggers having a ‘mid-blog crisis’ and whether they keep going. I know your readers, like myself, will take anything you give us, even if it’s just once a week. Trust me, I know that blogging is a full-time job and becomes it’s own entity. But don’t leave us!
I love reading your posts because I know it won’t be a rehash of info I see everywhere else…it’s how I try to keep my own blog content original and you’ve always been a great inspiration in that regards. Whew…jumping off my soapbox now…

So beautiful! I am completely horrible at wrapping gifts and youtube videos just make me feel worse! But after watching your lovely wrapping, it makes me want to do it too!
