Nice, I do love to create everything, as well. I’m from Europe, Baltic states, Latvia, relocated to Canada in 2004.
I think crafts, sewing, designing, decorating, painting, etc. is something people in Europe do, love and appreciate more. I personally never had too much money, so I learned to sew when I was 12, and made everything what I needed myself later, would that be pillow cases, decorative painting, rug, bed sheet, hat, tote or purse, necklace, anything.
I love all inspiring sites, like yours, however, I never actually need to look for inspiration. I have very many ideas, but unfortunately too less time.
