Party Favor Tote Bags

Not that these bags are flawlessly sewn (I can only dream of being good at sewing), but I am pretty proud of them nevertheless. We took the reversible tote bag tutorial from Vively Online and decided to make party favor tote bags for Elena’s upcoming birthday party.

Elena sewed the two main pieces to the bag, then I helped sew the two pieces together with the handles. Each bag is reversible with different colored polka dot and gingham and heart prints. (We’re all girly, all the time in this house.)

What are we going to put in the bags, you ask? These really fun Alex jewelry kits, which we got for a great price and come in a really nice, heavy duty acrylic box.

Birthday parties! Yay! Next on my To Do list: baking and decorating a cake to look like a big button.

I will be the only boy at the party. Can I get a manly bag, with skulls and footballs and stuff?
